Description
Frontera Personal 800 Service provides for inward toll free calling from stations in the United States, Puerto Rico, the US Virgin Islands, Guam, and the Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas Islands (CNMI) to locations in the United States Mainland. A Frontera Personal 800 Service Customer receives his or her own 8XX number. Personalized "vanity" 800 numbers may be available.
Terms and Conditions
"You" and "Your" mean current or potential customers of this Frontera Service. You must be classified as a residential customer by your Local Telephone Company.
Frontera means Frontera Telecommunications, Inc. and any Frontera affiliates authorized to provide you with Frontera services.
1. To participate in this service, you must:
- Enroll in this service by doing one of the following:
- Complete and return a written subscription form to Frontera.
- Call a designated Frontera 800 number to subscribe.
- Subscribe during a marketing contact with Frontera.
- Enroll via Frontera or Frontera-designated Internet Website.
2. This service includes the following types of calls:
- Calls completed to a Frontera Personal 800 Service number associated with your existing local exchange service and billed to your Frontera Personal 800 Service account.
3. This service does not include the following types of calls:
- Frontera Personal 800 Service calls are dialed by the calling party and completed without the assistance of a Company Operator or Automated Operator System and do not include:
- Collect calls
- Conference calls
- Calling card calls
- Person-to-person calls, or any other classification of Operator Assisted calls.
4. Frontera will provide the benefits of this service until one or more of the following events occur:
- You notify Frontera that you want to withdraw from this service.
- Frontera changes and/or discontinues this service.
5. You can enroll in only one state-to-state pricing plan for Frontera Personal 800 Service calls for each main residential telephone account unless Frontera notes otherwise.
6. Frontera will bill for this service based on the following:
The rates for Frontera Personal 800 Service consist of a monthly recurring charge, usage charges and nonrecurring charges that apply per Frontera Personal 800 Service arrangement.
- Usage rates specified for Frontera Personal 800 Service apply 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
- Calls are billed in six (6) second increments with an initial billing period of thirty (30) seconds.
- The following conditions apply to the Monthly Recurring Charge (MRC) component of this plan. The MRC is:
- Billed in advance (you may have two MRCs charged to your account in the first billing month, which apply to the month you enrolled as well as the next month).
- Applied whether or not you make any calls.
- Adjusted when the billing period covers less than or more than a full month (for this purpose, each month is considered to have 30 days).
- Subject to being waived based on monthly usage charges incurred.
- Billing Availability:
- Frontera will provide this service in locations where billing and technical resources are available.
- Generally, billing is available in the areas served by most Local Telephone Companies.
- If you wish to subscribe to this service, please call your Frontera Customer Care representative to check availability in your area.
Rates and Charges
The rates stated below became effective August 1, 2001.
- A Monthly Recurring Charge of $1.00 applies per Frontera Personal 800 Service arrangement.
